Arts and crafts, fun water games, and delicious food are main features at this year’s 15th Annual Toledo Lighthouse Waterfront Festival. Come out on Sunday July 9th for the paddle palooza and fun nautical crafts for the kids. Weather permitting there will be boat rides around the lighthouse. The history behind this event is to preserve the historical Toledo Harbor lighthouse. Back when the lighthouse was maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers, this was a busy place for ships coming through the Toledo shipping channel. Now we celebrate this small piece of history and raise funds to keep the structure strong for other ships.
